On the water
Baxstar owner and lead guide, Brady Baxter, lives to fish. His dedication to the sport and knowledge of area lakes provide you with the best possible opportunity to catch more fish! You can target Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie, Muskies, or a combination of species - it's up to you. A former life guard, Brady remains certified in CPR and First Aid, so you can rest assured that you are safe on the Baxstar boat. Large groups up to 20 people are welcome.

Your ride awaits...
When you ride with Baxstar, you ride in style! The newest iteration of the Baxstar boat is a Vexus DVX 19, equipped with a Mercury PRO XS 200 HP engine, plus a 9.9 HP ProKicker. At 19 feet long, with a 101" beam, this boat can comfortably accommodate 6 total people, including the guide. You simply cannot ​find a higher quality fiberglass fishing boat on the market today.
Services & Rates
Guided Fishing Trips
Fish for any or all species in the greater Detroit Lakes area. Serving Becker, Clay, and Western Otter Tail County in Minnesota, you can choose from a variety of lakes in the region. Baxstar can accommodate from 1 - 20 people, so bring your friends and family! Groups larger than 5 will be divided between multiple boats, each headed by an experienced guide.
4 hour trip for 1-2 people = $395, each additional person = $50
5 hour trip for 1-2 people = $495, each additional person = $62.50
6 hour trip for 1-2 people = $595, each additional person = $75
8 hour trip for 1-2 people = $795, each additional person = $100
*There is a 5 person limit for one boat, but we can accommodate up to 20 people with a multi-boat trip. Contact Baxstar using the form below to inquire and get a quote on a large groups trip.

Consultation by phone or online via Zoom
Baxstar offers no-contact fishing consultations via phone or Zoom to help clients get the inside scoop on area lakes, before they go out fishing. You can choose from basic lake information, all the way up to GPS pin sharing, where Baxstar will send you a pin to an area hot spot!
